From simple line art to complex instructional diagrams, we can produce the artwork / illustrations you need for your project. The two main types of artwork are "vector" and "raster". So what's the difference? Vector artwork is made up of lines, curves and colour blends produced using mathematics by software such as Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand. This simply means the artwork can be scaled up or down to any size without the loss of quality. Logo's, instructional diagrams, signs etc. are usually produced in vector format. However It is possible to have vector artwork that looks like a photo or 3D artwork. Raster artwork is made up of pixels (like a mosaic). Photographs, images, 3D pictures etc. are usually done in raster. This does not scale up without losing quality, so raster images are produced at 100% scale whenever possible. Raster artwork is usually used in magazines and print work. To view some of our illustration and artwork visit : portfolio : art |
